The rebirth of Venus is a contempory myth depicting the journey from Dark to Light. Venus leans back looking forward, capturing that moment of indecision; 'to stay in the destructive but familiar past or take a leap forward into the unknown'. At this moment the courage to move forward and change, is tantamount to freedom.
